Man suspected of tagging falls 30 ft and fractures skull

A 19 year old man, who’s name has not yet been released fell about 30 feet from a tree around 2:45 a.m. in the 1600 block of Beverly Boulevard. The suspect who is believed to not being a gang member may have been climbing a tree to reach a 3 story building authorities say. Officers found spray paint at the scene.
The incident is believed to be an accident and not a criminal act at this time. Authorities are hoping that the person who called in to report the incident would come forward in order to get more details.
Authorities said he shattered his skull after hitting the sidewalk and is alive but his prognosis is poor. He was diagnosed with no brain activity.
