ALHAMBRA, Calif.—A Southern California gang member will spend 84 years to life in prison for the murder of a high school senior who was shot in the back.

Twenty-nine-year-old Gabriel Guerrero of Rosemead was sentenced Thursday.

Dasalla was a senior at Gabrielino High School in San Gabriel and the shooting took place a block from school.
