Protesters in Los Angeles demand end to police brutality

Protesters from the Occupy Los Angeles group have staged a demonstration in the Southern California city to demand an end to police brutality, Press TV reports.
The Monday protest came in response to a rise in the number of fatal shootings by California police officers.
“They have murdered unarmed black men on Skid Row,” said General Dogan, an activist with the Los Angeles Community Action Network and one of the homeless who live in Los Angeles’ Skid Row neighborhood, adding that Skid Row residents are frequent victims of police violence.
