Anaheim shooting leaves 1 wounded

ANAHEIM – A possible gang-related shooting on Sunday left one man hospitalized, authorities said.

The incident was reported to the police at about 8:45 p.m. in the 2600 block of West Rome Avenue, said Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn.

It appears that the victim was shot in the abdominal area, Dunn added.

Police said the victim underwent surgery and is now in stable condition.

There are no suspects in custody, Dunn said.
