LOS ANGELES—Police and federal agents have arrested 10 gang members from the Venice area of Los Angeles on drug charges.
A federal indictment unsealed on Thursday accuses the members of the Venice Shoreline Crips and Venice-13 of running a cocaine distribution ring.
FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says 10 more defendants, including juveniles, face related charges in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Eimiller says most of the defendants in the federal case have extensive criminal histories. They face life sentences, if convicted.
