San Bernadino County deputy accused of sexual contact with inmate

Katina M. Carter, 38 year old female San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy accused of sexual contact with a 19 year old inmate at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, the department said in a statement.
Carter has was placed on paid administrative leave after she was arrested and released on bail, Friday. Investigators began looking into the possible relationship and searched the Sheriff’s home. The relationship is believed to be consensual.
