Police chased 25-year-old Jeraldo Gomez and a passenger in a black Honda on the San Diego (405) and Ronald Reagan (118) freeways just after noon Monday, reported CBS 2 News.
Gomez got off the freeway, brought the car to a stop near Langdon Avenue and Nordhoff Street and ran through an apartment complex. Police took chase and arrested Gomez a few minutes later.
Gomez was treated for injuries suffered during his arrest, then booked for a parole violation and suspicion of driving a stolen car, said CBS 2 News.
The unidentified passenger was released.
