From Times Staff Reports
November 3, 2003
Two suspected gang members shot and wounded a 14-year-old boy and two men in separate drive-by attacks Sunday afternoon a few blocks apart in the Jefferson Park area, authorities said.
The boy, who suffered an arm injury, was in stable condition. The conditions of the two men, who were taken to area hospitals in private vehicles, were unknown, said Los Angeles police Officer Don Cox.
The first shooting occurred about 4:40 p.m. in the 3700 block of Montclair Street. The second occurred moments later at 27th Street and 7th Avenue, said Cox.
The suspects are still at large.
