(12-11) 15:29 PST Bakersfield, CA (AP) --
Forty-six Bakersfield-area gang members have been arrested as part of an investigation that began more than two years ago.
The FBI says 200 officers took into custody members of the Eastside Crips, Westside Crips and Country Boy Crips — all factions of the Bakersfield Crips.
Authorities say the Crips gang was selling and distributing crack cocaine.
All 46 people arrested Thursday have been booked into the Kern County Jail, and have been charged with various crimes, including felony participation in a criminal street gang.
Fifteen others still are being sought in connection with the drug ring.
