Arrest made in Highland Park killing of 2 teen boysUpdated: 06/12/2009 06:48:36 AM PDT
A man has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing two teen-age boys in Highland Park in March, police said today. Alejandro Garcia, 16, and Carlos Hernandez, 15, were gunned down about 3:30 p.m. March 13 in the 6100 block of North Figueroa Street, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. The teens died at a hospital. The alleged gunman's name was expected to be released today at an afternoon news conference to be conducted by LAPD officials and City Councilman Ed Reyes.
