Ex-friend sues Shakur estate

NEW YORK (AP) -- A former friend claims Tupac Shakur has libelled him from the grave, so he's suing Shakur's estate for $200 million.

In a rap song released after his death, Shakur tells the story of "a snitch named Haitian Jack."

Jacques Agnant, 33, says he fears for his life and can't find work as a music producer because he is fingered as a federal informant in the rap Against All Odds on Shakur's Makaveli album.

The song says Jack is stocky and light-skinned and has a Haitian accent, all of which describes Agnant.

Agnant is on probation after pleading guilty to sexual misconduct in the 1994 assault in which Shakur was convicted of sexually abusing a woman who came to his hotel room.

Agnant's lawyer, Paul Brenner, said Shakur falsely believed his client made a deal with prosecutors. Shakur, 25, was gunned down Sept. 7 in Las Vegas in an unsolved killing.
