Rapper KilledLOS ANGELES – In 2010 Atlanta resident Aubry Berry was found not guilty in the 2009 killing of Roderick “Dolla” Burton. The two, had coincidentally been dining at the same Los Angeles restaurant, 11 days after their violent confrontation in an Atlanta club, where Berry was assaulted by Burton and others.

Video tape footage of the incident showed several people assaulting Berry and during the trial he testified that this incident created a reasonable fear of Burton.

Although this trial verdict occurred three years ago, we recently posted video of the verdict. Berry went on trial for the following 5 counts:

1. 1st degree murder against Roderick Burton
2. 2nd degree murder against Roderick Burton
3. Voluntary manslaughter against Roderick Burton
4. Assault with a firearm against William Robinson
5. Assault with a firearm against Sadiq Abawi

Because Burton’s two friends were in the vicinity during the shooting, Berry also faced two additional felony charges against Robinson and Abawi. Berry was found not guilty of all charges.

We did our best to explain how and why Aubrey Berry was found NOT GUILTY in two separate videos.

The trial was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Robert Grace and defended by Howard Price. Judge Michael Pastor presided over the trial and read the verdicts.
