DENVER – Terrance Roberts is “Still Pushin” after his NOT GUILTY verdict on attempted murder stemming from a conflict he had with his former gang back in September 2013.
After several incidents with members of the Crenshaw Mafia Park Hill Bloods, the conflict came to a head on September 20, 2013 while Roberts, 37, was preparing for a community peace event in the Holly Square.
Throughout the day during preparation, Roberts argued with various Blood gang members that accused him of being a snitch and informant (unsubstantiated claims) and shortly before the event was to begin, he pulled his weapon and fired on Hasan “Munch” Jones shooting him on property that Roberts helped developed. Roberts claimed self defense and the jury agreed.
Roberts was acquitted of all charges, on Oct 9, 2015, just over two years later. Jones has since be connected to two separate crimes, one including the killing of a the 2-year old baby of his the girl friend, Quisa Antoine. He is currently awaiting trial in Arapahoe County Jail.
