JAMIEL’S LAW
Proposed by Walter Moore, Candidate for Mayor of Los Angeles
Jamiel’s Law was written as a City ordinance for Los Angeles after Jamiel Shaw was shot and killed in a gang-related assault by Pedro Espinoza who was an illegal citizen and a member of the 18th Street gang. The proposed ordinance never gained City approval.
