A street twist

Lets take a time to make a twist

And think about the good the streets have done

Lets forget for a second the mayhem

But remember the good our home boys and home girls did do. The act of kindness and love we couldn't get anywhere else but from "the hood".

I'll go first. I remember till this day..OG just got out the pen. I'm young and struggling. It's the second time chopping it up with him after his release..he goes and asks me what I'm doing? I say "nothing. I'm looking into security". He knew I don't got a dime in my pocket. OG wanna pay for my guard card.

I just wanna add, real homies are there for you no stupid questions asked. lol. No stalling, no whining. That is why, some of us still got to kick back sometimes and reminisce about the hood.
