Hey, I am planning a trip to Guatemala here in August to meet my boyfriends family. I have a few questions i hope someone can help me with. My boyfriend has a large 18 on his chest. When i ask him what it stands for he changes the subject. I was told later by his brother that he is big into a gang called 18 st? How serious is this gang and is it large in guatemala. Can anyone give me info on this gang and second because i am a lil white girl will i be safe in guatemala with him if indeed he is a member? thanks

18ST IS THE BIGGEST GANG IN LA..U DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT GANG UR BF IS FROM??

I know what he tells me. we have been together for a year and i know hes here with out papers for something he did in guatemala. i aint stressing him being in a gang, but uh tickets already paid for and i wanna know what i am getting involved in. If hes a member of 18 is he going to be disrespecting his boys by bringing a white girl. i know i sound stupid but hispanic gangs i know nothing about bloods i can handle crips but this 18 i know nothing. his brother also brought up a group called MS13 that are supposed to be big in guatemala as well as El Salvadore anyone know anything on them?

MS13 was born in El Salvadore and is probley the biggest International hispanic gang out there too lol. Your bf and his brother a REALLY up there in the gang chain for hispanics

sounds like hes from one of those 18st clicks in another country. 18st is a gang that started in LA and became the biggest. MS13 is just one of their enemies and they are spread out through other countries too.

In my opinion, hispanic gangs in other latin countries are way more dangerous than in the U.S., they don't give a f_uck.

the gangs are worse over there because the the cops dont care. you put the los angeles gangs over there they would be just as bad.
