Gang territories that cross a freeways

Unread post by alexalonso » March 18th, 2013, 2:48 am

If you map the hundreds of gangs in LA County, one pattern that emerges that most turfs are separated by major streets and very few turfs cross a freeways, but there are maybe 15 to 20 gangs of the several hundred that are on both sides of a freeway.

Can you name any?

Yeah. WF is on both sides of the 60 (Pomona) freeway, but Lopez Maravilla is on the west side of the 710 and on the east side would be Lote Maravilla unless something changed recently.

I would say yes, a small piece might extend to Broadway, which is on the east side of the 110. Also 83 Hoovers have a decent representation on the eastside of the 110.

not recently at all

since the early 1990's, perhaps even late 1980's, Lopez Maravilla has had everything from Eastern avenue to Mednick ave
(where the MV projects begin)

Lote MV might have a single block INSIDE of Lopez Maravilla territory, but for all intents and purposes, thats all LMV hood

LMR (Lote MV) has been on last leg status for over 20 years... i dont know of any younsters from Lote MV ... none

all the youngers on the east of the 710 FWY are from Lopez MV

and also the west of the 710 FWY until Eastern Ave (thats where Lopez avenue is located)

...

once you cross Eastern ave .... welcome to THE LOTT 13 ~ original 1st hood

What about South Los? Dont they got a territory south of the 105/west of 110 near Vermont & Imperial? Then north of 105 & east of 110 as well?

Oriental Lazy Boyz turf has bridges over the 110 north and 110 south that leans off to the 101 north which seperates victor heightz aka victorious heightz and china town.

Yeah , BPS City Stones, R 20s along Western on both sides of the 10, Harpys too. For there being 100s of gangs in the city and county, aint much that traverse a freeway.

if you're giving BTL both sides of the 101, might as well give it to Temple Street also

43RD Avenues is on both sides of the Pasadena 110 freeway, and the Cypress Avenues are on both sides of the Glendale 2 freeway., East Side Clover is on both sides of the Golden Gate 5 freeway, and Primera Flats had both sides of the 101 Santa Ana freeway., also East Side Choppers 12 are on both sides of the Long Beach 710 freeway, and Lynwood's Young Crowd claim on both sides of the Century 105 freeway, same thing for the Rude Mob, and Harpys has a liettle piece on the north side of the Santa Monica 10 freeway, and btw Santa Monica 13 claims the whole city, so that would put them on both sides of the freeway.

Rollin 20's Neighborhood Bloods (10)

Black P. Stones [City] (10)

Temple Street (101)

Culver City Boys... most of their hood is west of the 405, but some of it is east.. and I think some of their hood dips south of the Marina Freeway as well

Denver Lane Bloods... most north of the 105, but some of it is south

South Los 13 -- east and west of the 110, and north and south of the 105

Harpys 13 -- I know it's mostly south of the 10, but historically they were on both sides of the 10, going all the way to Washington Blvd... I'm not exactly sure if that's the same case today

White Fence 13 (60)

Cuatro Flats 13 (101)

118 East Coast Blocc Crips (105)

A couple of the Hoover sets... 92 & 94 I think... (110)

Imperial Village Crips I think are on both sides of the 105... not sure.

Compton Varrio Segundo on both sides of the 710 & L.A. River...

Lynwood Neighborhood Crips (105)

There's probably others...

I think a small section of State Street Locos hood goes north of the 10 FWY to Marengo Street. But most of their hood is south of the 10.
