Good cast. This would have been better to add:

Robert DeNiro
Al Pachino

Hmmm...

Yea.

Great movie there. Tell me if you want to see my cast for a movie which will probably never happen...

If you know the game series Battlefield, then you should agree that there should be a movie.

I have the cast for it. I'm thinking WW2 for the time --- and Battlefield to be just the name without sequals...

Ok. Here's the cast anyways:

Ah hell it's on my other computer. Shit. Ok then I'll post a second post from there. I don't know how the hell they are gonna put that cast together and to get that cast some good timed parts, the movie should be about 4 hours and 30 minutes long.

Too long? Too bad. Gone with the wind was like 4 hours long, and it turned out to have uhh 10 academy awards won or just nominatons???

Ok next post = Cast...

Oh just before I do that, uhh, since it's a WW2 setting, let's have over 15 major battles shown on screen, with some good fighting like in Saving Private Ryan, and also to be directed by Steve Spielberg cause that man can make a solid movie...

What's killing me is that nobody bothered to say that The Departed is the new film by THE GREAT MARTY SCORSESE, the director who gave us, among others, MEAN STREETS, TAXI DRIVER, RAGING BULL, GOOD FELLAS & CASINO.

Awesome.

As close as Scorsese's going to get to making Goodfellas again. Nicholson filled Joe Pesci's shoes perfectly as the comical, sinister gangster. This was like Goodfellas meets The Shining. I still can't believe how good Jack was in this. Nicholson was hard core. Racist as hell, but that's how Irish hoods in Boston are. They had to keep it real like that.

The only thing missing was the multiple narration that made Goodfellas and Casino so great. But the fast sequence of scenes were still there. Not a dull moment in this flick.

Never thought I'd say these words, but Leo DeCaprio was actually good in this, too. He finally firgured out how to play a tough guy. He looked mean. I forgot it was even him.

Anthony Anderson's roll was small, but good.

I seen this movie and it was pretty good but I think some of you people are putting to much on it. To be honest I dont believe it should have won best movie of the year, I believe they felt it was time to give Scorsese his Oscar since over looking him for so many years. The actor I felt that did the best job was Leonardo Dicaprio, just about everybody else play into their same old roles.

I think watching Infernal Affairs kinda ruined the experience of watching the departed..IA was so much better in my opinion...the departed was a good film...but not great...
