wards, sets, projects

Unread post by 504medic » July 22nd, 2006, 1:10 am

you right it is wards, families, drugs here. not friendly to outsiders.
katrina is changing everything.

4th ward and 6th ward were friendly
4th ward and 7th ward were not

st thomas project and st bernard project were not friendly
when they tore down st thomas and moved them into st bernard it was war

lafitte project was not friendly with the uptown, 3rd ward projects: magnolia (cj peete), calliope (bw cooper), melpomene

i know 2 crew names from what my brother gets into
6th ward creepers - probably not around any more
d-block (algiers, on the west bank, 15th ward)

they are tearing down all the projects this year.
st thomas is gone
i work on fischer where the hi-rise used to be, low rise is gone in sept.
they're working on melpomene now
this summer st bernard, magnolia, calliope, and florida are coming down
a developer plans to take down lafitte and iberville in the fall

i live in algiers, by lamarque and lb landry. super sunday parades with the mohawk hunters start right here.

florida project (9 ward)

Florida's on the list to be tore down first. HANO's top 4 "worst of the worst" is Florida, St. Bernard, CJ Peete, and BW Cooper.

So then they going to try to put them used to live up in St Bernard down in the Iberville. Next thing u know it will be like when they tore down the St Thomas and put them up in St Bernard. Too much killing.

That will be their excuse to take Iberville, just watch the news and see. I wish we could stop it, but it's everything at once, while people are gone.

Mexican / Latin gangs

Unread post by 504medic » August 7th, 2006, 8:43 pm

Anybody know about mexican, honduran, el salvadoran, colombian gangs pushing up on N.O. after Katrina with all the workers in town?

Also, about Vietnamese street organizations here? My sister mom used to yell about them selling guns out of this one "Manchu" restaurant (closed now), and drugs out of the other one (closed now), both in the 7th Ward by the Circle Food Market.

She got so mad because she tried to close it down for years, but said the government put them there. But there's not Vietnamese in city government, just Creoles and Whites (old-blood White money behind most of the Creoles too).

In the 60's-early 70's New Orleans had a gang called Thugs United.

There was a big meeting of black gangs from all over the country in around '68. Vice Lords from Chicago, etc. Thugs United were the reps from New Orleans.
