NeighborHood Rolling 50s Crips (R 50s NHC) are a predominately African-American street gang from the westside of South Los Angeles, California. They are located between Vermont (east) and Western Avenues (west) from Slauson Avenue (south) and 54th Street (north). This set is a result of three different independent sets, 55, 57 and 58 unifying during the late 1990s becoming the Rollin 50s Neighborhood Crips.
During the 1980s the community was occupied by the 55 Hustlers and the 57 Hustlers. At the turn of the 1990s the 55 Hustlers were the first to changed their name to the 55 Neighborhood Crips (55 NHC) and then shortly thereafter the 57th Street Hustlers became the 57 Neighborhood Crips. To the north, the 58th Street Hustlers also became the 58 Neighborhood Crips heavily influenced by the early founders of 58th Street being members of the Rollin 60s Crips.
In the late 1990s going into the 2000s, all three separate factions came together under the Rollin’ 50s Neighborhood Crip identity.
