Lopez MaraVilla is a predominately Hispanic-American street gang located in the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles. It is among one of the oldest Hispanic street gangs in East LA, going back to about the 1940s.
They are one among many other MaraVilla gangs in East Los Angeles.

I’m 62 I worked at Cleland House on Dozier back in 1969/70. Some of the best years of my life. LMV showed me love, even though I was a black college kid, because I showed them respect. My family is originally from east Los but moved to tulare when my grand father got caught cheating. ish happens right.lol. he and his brother owned the Hernandez Nightclub on Whittier Blvd in little valley.At a young age i whipped on alot of asses for that move up north and coming back. I loved growing up in the barrio.i earned much love and respect from them and other neighborhoods. I also gave love and respect to lopez and ALL the other neighborhoods that let me chill and party with them. Respect yourself and others and everything else don’t matter. Put the guns and knives away and man up gente. By that I mean let’s not let the youngsters represent our proud heritage like savages. Let’s school them like we were back in the day.
