Ronald "Green Eyes" Tyson II, 25, A 118 East Coast Blocc Crips gang member was shot and killed by South Los 13 gang member Chindio "Crazy" Medrano, on September 20, 2003 in the Green Meadows area of Los Angeles, California, located on 920 E. 109th Place. On September 20, 2003, Chindio "Crazy" Medrano, Jose "Flaco" Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez and a man referred to only as "Toker", picked Tyson up in a black volkswagen Jetta, for the purpose of dissuading him to testify against Chindio "Crazy" Medrano in court. When Tyson refused, Chindio "Crazy" Medrano shot him four times, killing him. Chindio "Crazy" Medrano was also convicted for the murder of Mario Williams, an associate of the 118th East Coast Blocc Crip gang, Ronald "Green Eyes" Tyson, was a witness in the Mario Williams murder case.

Woodrow Player III, 22, A 118 East Coast Blocc Crip gang member was shot several times by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies and died on July 10, 2009 at 8:45pm. Player was shot as he ran from deputies in the 11200 block of Berendo Avenue, investigators said they recovered a gun from player's car, but witnesses said he was unarmed when deputies shot him in the back.
