67 NeighborHood Crips [67 NHC, Square Gang] are a predominately African-American Street gang in South Los Angeles located on 67th Street between Normandie and Vermont Avenue on the northeast side of Eight Tray Gangster Crip’s turf.
Their turf goes from approximately 64th Street (north) to 68th Street (south) between Vermont (east) and Normandie (west). They were initially formed in 1983 as the Vermont Boys, then in 1984 they became the 67th Street Hustlers. During the late 1980s and early 1990s many of the “Hustlers Crews” began to convert into Crip gangs, specifically “NeighborHood Crips.” The olderer original members were against converting while the younger members were ready to transition. That change occurred after the 1993 death of Crazy C.
Northside ETG members were completely against the residents of 67th Street starting their own crew.
