By Yourself Gangster Crips are a predominately African-American street gang located in the West LA section of Los Angeles. During the late 1980s they were not a Crip gang and went by the name, By Yourself Hustlers. Eventually they joined with other West Los Angeles sets and converted into a “Gangster Crip” during the 1990s, in the same way that the Mansfield Hustlers became the Masfielf Gangster Crips during the 1980s.
