LA gang czar admits that LAPD gang statistics may be misleading

In September 2009, Los Angeles Deputy Mayor of GRYD, Guillermo Céspedes replaced Jeff Carr as the head of the city’s GRYD (Gang Reduction & Youth Development) program.

In the interview after, he stated to the media that the statistics on gang-related crime by the Los Angeles Police Department may not be that accurate.
