Redondo Beach is one of the three beach cities in Los Angeles County, located in the South Bay region. The city has a total area of 6.4 sq. miles. Redondo Beach was originally part of the 1784 Rancho San Pedro Spanish land grant that later became the South Redondo area.
Before the beach city housing boom in the 1990s, Redondo Beach’s population mirrored much of older communities around Los Angeles. Redondo Beach had generally large numbers of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (esp. Hawaiians and Samoans) for cities with an excess of 50,000 residents. The gentrification process in the 1990s and 2000s displaced many Asians, Latinos and working-class whites inland into Torrance.
According to the 2008 US Census, the total population of Redondo Beach is 67,231 people. Only 14.1% of residents are Hispanic, 79.8% of residents are White, 10.5% are Asian, and 2.6% are Black or African American. 17.4% of residents are foreign born, and 21.2% speak a language other than English in the home. 54.3% of residents have a bachelor’s degree or higher, and 98.6% of residents have a high school degree. Only 3.7% of families and 5.2% of individuals live below the poverty line. The median family income is $110,438.

I used to kick back with NSR13 back in the early 90’s, they where pretty deep I would guess about 150 total O.G.’s and females included. They actually had a couple white and black members. Im black and after a while I guess the racial ish started , cuz they started acting funny style even though I put in some work with those cats. I havent seen a sign of them in years , though Im in the Bay Area now when I visit I hit redondo just to see If i can catch up with anyone, no signs of activity anywhere
